Mike Brown is a professional tournament bass angler from Ontario. He has made a name for himself competing in the CSFL and the CBAF as a member of the Toronto Bass Anglers. I’ve had the opportunity to speak with a number of professionals, but Mike was the first to give me some deep insight into tournament fishing, successfully at that, in Ontario waters.
After a short time talking with Mike, it was pretty clear that this man knows of what he speaks. More interesting is that he doesn’t always follow convention, and has a tendency to do things the “Mike Brown” way as you will discover. In this episode, Mike and I will dig really deep into the preparation and experience that goes into becoming a professional angler in Ontario. We’ll talk about how Mike keeps his head under pressure, and let us in on a few of his secrets.
