Mark and I come back down from our marketing talk, and turn the conversation back to some of his projects. Tune in for more about the inspiration and history of the show Guided with Mark Melnyk, the birth of The New Fly Fisher, and a wonderful tangent about Mark’s love of rodeo and everything cowboy. We wrap up the show going even deeper into the work Mark has done with Wilderness North, and he spares no detail describing the beauty of this paradise on earth.

As luck would have it, shortly after speaking with Mark about the Calgary Stampede in this episode, the opportunity to visit family in Calgary right at Stampede time came up. So, per Mark’s advice, I’m heading out West to take in a quintessential piece of Canadiana this summer.
